A 0–100 mood index for crypto: 0 is extreme fear, 100 is extreme greed. It mixes things like volatility, social buzz, and market momentum (the vendor’s recipe).
Extreme fear has historically been a better one-year starting point than extreme greed. Mood can stay fearful while price bleeds, so it is a temperature, not a bell.
