Global Liq YoY

In plain English

A year-over-year pulse of global liquidity versus bitcoin. Year-over-year means “compared with the same week last year,” which catches turning points better than a raw pile that can stay high through a bear.

When the pulse is positive and rising, the backdrop has historically been easier for bitcoin. When it is fading, headwinds. This is not US M2 and not Fed net liquidity — those are other cards.

Math and metrics

Proprietary global-liquidity pulse (exact weights unpublished). Plotted series is a smoothed YoY of that pulse vs weekly bitcoin.

cycle_t ≈ YoY(smooth(globalLiqPulse_t)). Display vs BTC on a dual pane.

Not WALCL−TGA−RRP and not G4 M2. Use as a cycle overlay, not a tradable signal by itself.
